Abstrak

This study aims to examine the impact of implementing the restitution method on improving student discipline within the framework of child-friendly school implementation. The research uses a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, analyzing various theories, previous studies, and relevant policy documents. Restitution is a positive discipline approach that emphasizes restoring students' moral awareness through responsibility rather than punishment. In the context of child-friendly schools, restitution aligns with principles that uphold children's rights and promote non-violent learning environments. The findings indicate that the restitution method enhances students' compliance with rules, fosters empathy, and strengthens self-control and moral consciousness. This approach also contributes to creating a safe and inclusive learning climate. Therefore, restitution is not only effective in fostering discipline but also supports the sustainable development of students' character. The study recommends integrating the restitution method into school discipline policies as a humanistic and child-friendly strategy.
