Abstract

The emergence of metaverse technologies presents transformative opportunities for Industry 4.0 vocational education. This study evaluates the effectiveness, usability, and pedagogical impact of metaverse-based learning media structured through the SAVAR (Substitution, Augmentation, Virtual Learning, Apply, Re-evaluation) framework. Employing a mixed-methods design, the research integrates quantitative metrics of outcomes and engagement with qualitative feedback from students and educators. The SAVAR model systematically guided the transition to virtual simulation, fostering practical execution and iterative feedback. Findings reveal that this structured framework significantly improved vocational competencies, motivation, and collaborative interactions. Critical success factors include systematic application and rigorous re-evaluation phases, despite infrastructure and accessibility challenges. The study concludes that SAVAR-driven metaverse media offer a viable, impactful approach to fostering practical skills essential for modern labor markets. Future research should prioritize scalability, long-term efficacy of SAVAR phases, and bridging technological disparities.
